Massive icebergs are slowly melting along the shores of the Mackenzie River. Last Saturday (May 31) the temperature rose to a record 28°C (82°F) and, though the ice was melting, I still think it will be a while before the shores are clear. Norman Wells, Northwest Territories, Canada.
